Rebecca Johnston, a Charleston artist, enjoys expressing her artistic concepts through various media. Photography, jewelry design, and painting are among a few. The artist is often inspired by the organic form and unique beauty that is found in even the smallest details of nature. Her works include various explorations using organic expressions. Rebecca earned a Bachelors Degree from North Carolina State University with a major in Art and Design and a minor in Architecture. She then obtained her Masters Degree from East Carolina University. Today, Rebecca designs her creative pieces while also working as an art instructor. Rebecca enjoys creating one-of-a-kind artistic expressions through her contemporary handcrafted jewelry. Each uniquely shaped gemstone and pearl is individually chosen for the development of the original designs. Catching the eyes of art enthusiasts, Rebecca’s work displays her strong attraction to the natural beauty of distinctive gemstones and unique water-cultured pearls.
